I am an old Swamp Thing reader. I pretty much stopped a year or so after Moore/Bissette/Totleben/Veitch. I've sampled newer issues mid-series and not been tempted. This series...maybe, but not yet. If you've a mind to, please tell me about this series, what you like.

    1. Mike Perkins art is pretty phenomenal, just absolutely gorgeous that knows when to be beautiful or scary
    2. The mystery of Levi and how he got to where he is fascinating, such as how it is he can still be human or his brother's weird ritual
    3. It may be a new character but it steeped in old Swamp Thing continuity in terms of villains and background characters/legal entities, not to mention Alec Holland actually has shown up.
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
    Words to live by.

As creepy and unsettling as you would expect from a Swamp Thing comic.
