Uncle Sam (the super-hero) always intrigued me. The whole notion of a cosmically/spiritually summoned United States avatar just seems to have a lot of untapped potential, y'know?

Among other questions on my mind, can Uncle Sam fall in love?

Also, it's interesting that, in this increasingly multicultural age, the avatar of America hasn't really shifted away from a goofy old white Yankee doodle. Seriously, if you want to draw America in a political cartoon, who do you use? Uncle Sam. Sometimes Lady Liberty, but that's about it.
