The Trial of Magneto starts this August

Valerio Schiti is going to be the artist for this book not Romita but I agree we need to know a little more on what´s going to be about because I also didn´t like Leah´s X-factor but who knows, maybe this story will bring a different concept and it´s a mini series so it will be this one story.

About Mystique and X-force, Xavier handed X-force license for the second rule because they are part of the security of Krakoa, so Mystique actions on Orchis, they have the plan to build hundreds of sentinels to destroy Krakoa after all, so Mystique´s or X-force mission is no different to the one the X-men had during HoX and is part of that and while Magneto is aware of X-force he´s not part of it so he doesn´t have that license.

Inconsistencies. If Percy is giving off one idea, Hickman another, and Ewing yet another, and how knows how else, it is because the law is just to use as the story needs it to. Xavier is apparently questioning the law due to the Vault, but why not just send X-Force to deal with it? Because Hickman is not writing the same story as Percy. So it depends on the book.

I agree it depends on the book but so far only X-force and I guess Wolverine and Mystique as solo agents have that license and it´s been consistent in the different titles.

Romita Jr. sucks? Come off it, man. Romita Jr. is a legend! I like his dad better, but Romita Jr. is great. I never really loved him on X-Men, but Iron Man, Captain America, Man Without Fear, and so much more, the guy is one of the greats!

I'm not a fan at all. His art is too boxy and seems rushed sooo much. His superman stuff was pretty rough too. People love Bachelo, but he's another one I avoid when I see he's on a title

Hickman's run is filled with different interpretations from each issue without any sense of direction or idea or characterization to his own story. But for other writers. I don't think that is the same case for Ewing or Percy with respects to their ideas. I hope he turns this around with his next run to give it more meaning and direction towards what he has done so far.

I honestly don't think anyone is paying attention. Just last month, we saw Forearm (hardly the most important mutant) show up as both part of the SWORD security team and one of Magik's "Dark Riders".

While I am curious to see the reason for the trial I like the fact that so many bad things happened during Magneto´s life that being send to a trial and exiled in Krakoa would not even be his top 10 of events that have gone bad in his life. It´s an interesting dichotomy for the character.He´s the one person who can honestly say to Sabretooth " is not that bad" and he would be telling the truth and that´s hilarious and great.

I'm here for it, I'm assuming he does something that puts Krakoa in peril by the international community.

I am disappointed that Hickman doesn't have more of a driving hand.

Assuming it's a legal trial: interesting everyone assumed Magneto must have broken the no killing law. It could be he didn't "respect the land", did something that fucked up the actual island
