20 issues in and I'm still confused as to why Jubilee is on this team and what purpose she serves.

You could say that about almost every character in this run. Why is Gambit only worried about Rogue? Why is Jubilee only worried about Shogo? Why is Betsy always worried about her self worth?

Most of the cast comes off as one note tbh

Maybe he has a better inker or colorist... or just spent more time on the Gala issue, but Marcus To's art looks better than ever. Series best, I might say. (I think it's the coloring.)

For someone who doesn't want to be at the party, Rictor is dressed pretty elaborately lol. Jubilee and Rictor have known each other for a long time. She helped rescue him during X-Tinction Agenda and had a bit of a flirty moment with him, so it's nice to see them interacting again.

Yep, it is the same character interactions over and and over and over again, every issue. Along with someone in the group being a major sourpuss(usually Rictor or Gambit).

And, yeah, I am so tired of Rictor whining about Apocalypse. Everyone else is like good riddance, and with good reason too! He caused a whole lot of trouble and is absolutely not a good person(great character though). I mean that, "I remember you, -|A|-." , line has got to be the most cringe thing I have seen in a while.

Colors look a lot less flat! I agree with your assessment there. Also really love the idea of Ric and Jubilee strengthening their friendship.
