The way I see it, it's not about how tight or revealing the outfit is. Super heroes who train a lot will have amazing bodies and they wear tight outfits. Like athletes. No problem with it.
Personally, I wouldn't mind if a character was drawn nude, full frontal, with nipples and genitals showing, as long as it made sense for the scene. Why would I mind? That's just the human body.
The difference is in how the human body is being portrayed. It’s about the artistic eye.
If I'm not in favour of female objectification, I believe I shouldn't support male objectification either, even though I enjoy looking at the male body much more than the female body. But to each their own.
Once more: it's not about being beautiful or sexy. It’s not about outlandish fashion or tight outfits. It's about the choice to represent the character in an objectified way.
So you admittedly enjoy watching beauty-full male bodies.
Why should a straight man or lesbian feel any less for enjoying watching beauty-full female bodies? (as a gay man myself, I also very much admire the female form in all its beauty)
While I agree, some artists, do cross some aesthetic lines and boundaries...The beauty-full bodies existing (in real or in art) is not the problem here. It's the viewer's intent that should be questioned.
Some looked at that image and thought...nice buns!
Some looked at that image and thought...objectifiable porn!

Does it need doing?
Yes.
Then it will be done.
Yes.
They shouldn't.
It's not about the enjoyment or sexual orientation of the consumer. It's about the artistic choices.
I never compared it to porn... It's the first time I'm even using the word here. Beautiful bodies can be portrayed in many ways that are not objectified, they can be entirely naked without being objectified (it's not the first time I'm saying it).
It's not in the eye of the beholder. It's literally in the eye of the artist. The artists choose what is the focal point, the framing, the pose, the facial and body expression, the lightning on the scene... etc...
If it doesn't bother you, it's okay. Just enjoy.
Participating in what, exactly? The Gala?
...it's a party. Who doesn't love to dress up and attend a fabulush party?
And really, apart from a very select few, the vast majority of outfits are not revealing or objectifiable.
@G.Soul...I never said you looked at it as porn... I know you didn't. That was in specific reference to another post, not yours.

This Gala didn't even start and it's already creating so many iconic moments for the X-Men. I'm adorng every second.
Hope the stories deliver. What I want most is some good character moments and interactions. What actually happens is not a priority for me as much as HOW it happens.
Loving all the omegas together.
A picture would last longer darling...
