    Alter ego: Jim Slade
First appearance: Crack Comics #10 (February 1941)

    NOTE: Pages from comicbookplus site.

And Tor has since appeared in new story in a DC comic book.

Only if they figure out where to use them and how. They'd need another book to highlight their realm(s).

    The again, I'd love a JLDark-like book set in the 1930s/1940s, but . . .

I was thinking a modern update.

    The characters:
    • Tor, the magic master (mustached magician alias)
    • James Slade (news photographer)
    • Lucy Stone (girlfriend, reporter)

I noticed a connection with elemental earth:

    tor (tôr)
    n.
    1. A high rock or pile of rocks on the top of a hill.
    2. A rocky peak or hill.

    slade (sleɪd)
    n
(Physical Geography) a dingle or small valley

    and, of course, stone
