What's sad is that some of the brilliant comedy that came from some of these shows couldn't be shown in mainstream now.

I love sketch comedy and wish it could always have the freedom to make people laugh at hilarious situations. To not worry about offending people but just make people laugh.

Have you rewatched any of these? Dreadful, I don't know what I laughed at here when I was young.

    Shout out to:
    -- "Mr Show"
    -- "The Benny Hill Show"
    -- "The Paul Hogan Show"
    -- "Not Necessarily The News"

Oh, and I guess "Hee-Haw?" I didn't really watch it, but I know it was a thing that seemed popular at the time.

I voted for two. Snl and THe Muppet Show. I used to watch old episodes of The Muppet Show with my dad. We still do

I voted SNL before realizing it was a multiple choice poll. I would've also clicked Monty Python.

I loved Benny Hill and it came down to either it or SCTV. I chose the latter because of John Candy, Martin Short, and Eugene Levy.

There is only one at the top, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and I didn't come here for an argument.

Same here. Only a handful of episodes. I just know that this one from the '90s had a real, banger theme song (IMHO):

    A classic.

My mom wasn't much for sketch shows but this had her rolling in the isles.

Not trying to be "Mr. Smarty Pants", but having made that mistake myself, I've learned that if the selections are in a circle, it means you can only vote for one. If the selections are boxed shaped, it means you can vote for multiple selections. Hope that helps in the future.
