wasn't he mostly just in a lab through all of that being monitored and drugged up so his powers didn't go wild, because that makes it even stranger.

I’m mixed on the subject. I’ve found it’s super easy to pick up Scottish dialogue/slang when surrounded by people using it constantly. Words are much easier to assimilate into your vocabulary than accents.
On the other hand I can see where people may think Spurrier’s trying a bit too hard.

I'm also not really offended by it. I think people are adapting to languages quite quickly in their teenage years. But I feel like him being Israeli is more and more subdued and a non-factor since he was introduced.

But David basically has no fixed identity anyhow. So maybe it is all fine for him being different every time he is introduced.

By the way, can someone please explain to me Legion's power-set? I feel like it has changed over the years: Wasn't his ability first that he absorbs dying personalities—and their powers—around him when he was introduced in the first place?

And now his body seems to constantly and spontaneously produce new mutant abilities and he is creating a new split personality for every mutant ability he is creating anew?

Or what is his deal exactly?

Intriguing panels! What is Legion looking for I wonder. Explorative surgery, or is he going to remove something? (mind control conspiracy theory activate!)
Looks like Kurt’s on the clock, doing David’s bidding.

I only go by the Omega designation, he is omega of power manifestation. So I think he just keeps generating new powers within his being through fracturing into new personas. He probably is the most powerful omega of all, but I think he just needs to settle on a fixed amount of personas to truly be that.In Age of X the Moira personality took over ,but did not take over completely ,just tricked him into taking the lead role.So I think he is only as powerful as the primacy of the persona who manifests the power at any one moment

Ok I'm so stoked for this. Kurt and David are the pair we deserve.

Yeah, Legion has practically all the powers that we can imagine, but not all at once and he doesn't control them excessively well.

We have seen him export his personalities into Madrox dupes. It would seem reasonable he could do the same with the Krakoan husks.

I agree, if he were part of Krakoa(right now he seems autonomous) he would be the absolute back up in the crisis scenario of the five ,the hatchery, Sinister's gene bank being destroyed.Any husk can be reconstituted by Legion putting personas akin to the five in say Madrox(although he could do so himself as he possibly mastered synergy like Hope since all personas are of one being ) to make the husks and then putting a like persona with an identical or similar power to a dead mutant and have them restored, not an exact clone but definitely not a complete loss of Krakoans.Though I don't think it would come to that , more likely Sinister would make his typical cloned society and ask Legion to help him make Krakoa in Sinister's image lol

I wonder if we'll see the return of David's Gestalt form. That particular look is awesome and deserves a comeback.

You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back

David's Scottish slang doesn't bother me because it's just another constructed personality the way I see it...though tbh I had actually completely forgotten that he's Israeli until I read it in this thread so they could probably do better on that score. When's the last time we saw Gabrielle anyway?

I like Kurt finally being seen as some sort of opposition. Its been a while and rather than in bits and pieces we are getting a full story and focus on him without the constant competition that usually leaves Kurt to be put on hold. Of course I may just be getting excited ahead of time. I haven't read the issue yet.

Also: Why does Legion have that accent isn't his mother Gabriel Haller? I know he's been on Muir... but...
