Hi all. Just wanted to check if anyone else read the issue? Overall, the issue was done well. All of the stories focused on particular characters who each had their own challenges and confrontations. The story that definitely stood out for me was Jubilee's. I always saw her as being the early 90s mall kid. But I definitely paused for a few moments as she was giving offerings at her parents' graves. Seeing her as a kid and seeing her literally come together as a character, that was cool. That aspect of Jubilee, her Chinese heritage, her parents coming from Hong Kong, I never knew that. While it's good that she hasn't worn her Asian identity on her sleeve, that her character isn't just her race or ethnicity, it doesn't hurt to see those aspects acknowledged.
Also, wow, she's going out with Jono now? Nice.
Still haven't read the interviews yet. Will do so soon. But yes, this issue was good.
