Oh wow, that X-folk cover wasn't available at my comic store, so I got the Nico Minoru one, but if it had (or the Shang cover), I would have been torn... Nice to Mondo and Sunfire there, so it's not all X-ladies. Man, such a feast of representation over on that side of things. The cover easily could include Neal Sharra, Trinary, Indra, Nature Girl, Silver Samurai, Sprite, etc.

I always saw her as being the early 90s mall kid. But I definitely paused for a few moments as she was giving offerings at her parents' graves. Seeing her as a kid and seeing her literally come together as a character, that was cool. That aspect of Jubilee, her Chinese heritage, her parents coming from Hong Kong, I never knew that. While it's good that she hasn't worn her Asian identity on her sleeve, that her character isn't just her race or ethnicity, it doesn't hurt to see those aspects acknowledged.

Also, wow, she's going out with Jono now? Nice.

Still haven't read the interviews yet. Will do so soon. But yes, this issue was good.
Jubes and Chamber have been together since at least the last Generation X series.
