There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Far side of crazy - Joker/Taxi driver type film
Hell of a night (Schoolboy Q) - Urban horror
Invalid Litter dept. - real life horror about the murders of women in Juarez, Mexico
Babymetal - Catch Me If You Can
supposedly about girls playing hide-and-seek with a demon.
[I stumbled on them after watching the Lego Unikitty! cartoon series, where they perform the opening jingle. they've got some fun stuff. a LOT of it would fit in nicely with some horror anime]
for something in the lighthearted darkly humorus tone:
Misfits the musical
Blackhole Sun- Soundgarden
Riders on the Storm by The Doors
Nemesis by Shriekback
Astronomy by Blue Oyster Cult
Xanadu by Rush
Sympathy for the Devil by the Rolling Stones
Blue Jay Way by the Beatles
Down in the Park by Gary Numan (but the Marilyn Manson version would work better)
Powderfinger by Neil Young
Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd
My Wife by The Who
Going purely by song titles:
Head to Toe - Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam
Lonesome Loser - Little River Band
Mama Said Knock You Out - LL Cool J
I Melt With You - Modern English
Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show - Neil Diamond
Lake of Fire - Nirvana
Fishin' in the Dark - Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
You're the One That I Want - Olivia Newton John and John Travolta
I Fall to Pieces - Patsy Cline
Welcome to the Terrordome - Public Enemy
Exhuming McCarthy - REM
and pretty much any Ramones title
Original join date: sometime in 2002
The Police Murder by Numbers for a psychopathic killer type of movie, or a non horror hitman movie.
Beth Hart - Fire On The Floor CD Review
Beth Hart February 23rd, 2017 Boston, MA Concert Review
"I can't complain. I got to be Jim Morrison for the first half of my life, and Ward Cleaver for the second half." - Warren Zevon.
I always thought that the Twisted Sister song "Horror-Teria: A) Captain Howdy B) Street Justice" would make a great horror movie when I first heard the track back when the album was first released. Then Dee Snider made the film Strangeland which used the song as the basis of the film and sadly, the movie didn't really turn out as well as the song did.

The Police Every Breathe You Take
Billie Holiday Strange Fruit
Nina Simone I Put A Spell On You
Ella Fitzgerald Hard Hearted Hannah (This could be more of a thriller than horror)
I just stepped out to do something and I see you already beat me in posting the police every breathe you take

Bohemian Rhapsody.
Or, if we're including non-hits, Death On Two Legs.
"Maxwell's Silver Hammer": Unhinged young man uses hammer to bludgeon people he perceives as enemies:
Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!
"Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer". Crazed reindeer runs over old ladies.
I can easily see it as a horror movie, with an evil reindeer with glowing red eyes and a guttural, growling voice uttering "GRANDMA..." in a menacing tone.
