One sad realization for me is that Jon has really dropped in popularity with me since they aged him up. And if I think about it too hard, Lois and Clark are tainted by the whole thing since their dumb out of character decisions led to it. Jon's role as Lois and Clark's son still gave him a slot he may not really deserve. I like the idea of them being parents more than how it's actually been portrayed in the last couple of years. The kid Jon I liked better and I still am mad at how the unique potential of the character was thrown away.
There are of course a lot of character I'd have loved to have used, but there's just not room. 90s Linda Danvers is still held in high regard but she's long gone from the franchise. If I were really developing a franchise and eyeing spin offs, John and Natasha would be high priority characters to promote but aren't in my top eight.
