No problem and yes itīs nice to be able to talk about topics like these in a polite way.

Just the way I was raised. I guess people might have called my parents and family strict, but I never felt that way. I did indeed face some gentle ribbing from friends and classmates growing up for being known as someone who did not lie or use bad words. It was always in fun though and I think there was respect there as well.

I personally don't go after writers but from my perspective remender wrote the scarlet witch mutants have no culture scene and then the call me alex scene, so for me i did think what was he trying to say and what was he implying. I wouldn't go all hysterical and call him out on it but if the conversation came up in the forums i would give my opinion and i would stop supporting his work if bothered me to that level. I can see people taking that situation personally especially people who feel that the mutant metaphor means something particular to them and here this writer is giving his view on what that isn't through the characters.

I think that is different than a writer who wrote a character as having a favorite food being pizza for instance when in canon it's rice and fans tearing that person down for it and him clapping back. To me those are two different situations so i don't really get or understand the trying to make things universally the same without any sort of context or critical thought on the situation. Just not how i roll. But then i haven't found the person i've been able to stay mad at for longer than 5 minutes so what do i know.

How are people seeing the Duggan thread? That tweet doesn't come up in a search for me.

It's frustrating how CGers managed to find a foothold in comics. I saw them try to break into other fandoms and fail, but they've managed to keep it up with comics. Then again, GG has heavily waned, so maybe it was just a reallocation of focus on their part from games to comics.

    CGers are the flipping worst.
