Planet-Size X-Men #1 first look

Can we talk more about how excited we all are that Arrako is going to play a role in Planet size and less about XM/FF. That cross over was so disappointing. Although the scene with Scott and the FF was great.

I can honestly say, I have almost ZERO interest in Arrako.

I didn’t love X of Swords, but maybe Arrako will now play an important role in Hickman’s/Duggan’s plans and it will change my mind. At least Pepe is drawing it.

Imagine if we could clone Pepe/Marte to draw/color every series in the Hickman era. All the titles would be elevated. Thats a fact!

Not me, I want to learn more about the Arraki mutants. XoS I thought overall was good, it stumbled a bit in some areas but I left happy. If we can just take the best parts of XoS and continue them here I’m stoked.

I ignore ALL the "duel" issues and read the big battle issues....which were the best parts of the event.

While the Xavier School is the location of Scott and Cap meeting, I’m not sure if the X-Men could use it as a base of operations considering that Kurt gave it to the Sidri back in Dawn of X.

So, at 48 pages, Planet-Size is considerably smaller (20, to be precise), in comparison to the original “68 BIG PAGES” of Giant-Size #1. :-)

Wow, really? Talk about a misnomer. I honestly was expecting 60+ with that name.

Then again, they gave us a handful of "Giant-Size" issues that were only 40 pages. Is there a reason for this or just because?
