I’m of the opinion that Jimmy should’ve been Jon’s godfather. Perry is cool and all but Jimmy is actually Lois and Clark’s friend. Should’ve been him. Least this show won’t be sidelining him for once it looks like.

While that would be awesome I’m not expecting it to be quite so action focused. Won’t know until we get a trailer however.

I'm really excited for the show but nothing indicates to me this is going to be taking the vast swath of Superman continuity, stories, and history and making a comprehensive all-around Superman cartoon for the modern era like Spectacular was. Or have as dynamic or memorable of fights.

But at the end of the day it's a Superman cartoon by way of a romcom so as long as it's fun, has decent action, and adapts the mythos in a solid yet believable way I think people will be happy with it.

Judging by the people involved I’m guessing there will be action, never watched She-Ra myself but it did have a lot of action in it right? I know Voltron did. It’s just that the dynamics of the Daily Planet workplace are also likely going to get more attention here than they usually do, which is great!

As some have pointed out, the black Wally West is a cousin of the white Wally West. Just do the same thing with Jimmy Olsen. The white one is the reporter, the black one is the photographer. Or visa versa. But, which one is Superman's pal? Simple answer: they both are.

I think it looks awful but to each their own. This is a hard pass for me. I'll wait to see what the reviews say and what the fan consensus is if both are positive I'll give it a watch.
