Problem solved, thanks! And I was wondering just how long it would take for that particular cover to show up...

I debated on covers, but this one showed it the best.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

What this cover needs is Groucho Marx's mustache. But IIRC the vaudeville version was put on with shoe polish.

Anyway, let's go with this one. Many staches may mean many vote.

Doesn't most every cover needs more Groucho?
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?

He didn't make the cover, but Groucho appeared in Giant Size Master of Kung Fu.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

It would be loathe of me to not go with the outrageously French Batroc ze Leaper for this one.

I actually found a GN with the Marx Brothers on it.

If anyone wants to use it, they are welcome to it.

Germany's most successful comic book creator of all times must be Ralf König, whose stories about gay life and culture have been turned into several motion pictures, and feature many mustaches.

This one is not about the Jan 6 insurrection, but about the founding mythos of the city of Cologne.

Grease paint actually, but why quibble?
