That's absolutely fair, and the ones they're fighting are clearly no good. But even if he hesitated, he still went along with the mass poisoning. And starting a race war is pretty terrible solution no matter how you slice it.

I just can’t get into the whole Vampire thing. It just too fantastical for Wolverine in my opinion. It also hasn’t helped that they’ve had to constantly start and stop this story multiple times. Frankly I think the whole all mutants are welcome in Krakoa has hurt Wolverine the most as most of his really great villains are mutants. Just feels like they’re grasping for enemies at this point.

Whole x-men books have been grasping for new villains...

I don't know who it was that sat down one day and decided to turn Marvel's version of Dracula and vampires in general into some kind of third-rate knock-off of Malekith and the Dark Elves, but whoever it was, they shouldn't be allowed anywhere near comic book storytelling until they've had a good, long think about what they've done wrong and taken steps to become better people.

Seriously. Go back and read some of the classic 70's Dracula issues with the Gene Colan art then look again at the unthreatening, retconned goblins passing for 'vampires' in Marvel today. They used to be 'Horror', now they're Blade 2 levels of garbage.

And I'm not even touching the ridiculousness of Undead monsters who can a) turn into mist being, and b) only be killed with a wooden stake to the heart, being scared of a stumpy guy with knife-hands.

I always thought vampires on marvel universe were like this. I really read too little vampire comics on marvel, that is why I think it is weird that we have 2 different vampires stories going on right now.
