I suspect this is how DC/Warner would answer your criticism of the Injustice spin-off franchise -

Because everything good about superman comes from something else while the bad comes from him, apparently.

What if they don't consider superman to be good in the first place? What if we's just naively think he's good or bad for the world?

Not if they do the comics. Injustice 2 calls out Batman for being a hypocrite who places winning above the safety of the world. It adds a lot more nuance to the story making it less black and white.

Batman isn't incorruptible in the Injustice 2.

Well, here's hoping they adapt hero Superman vs Regime Superman and it's awesome.

It added no nuance.Clark is plain jobber villain for bruce.Bruces "crippling" people wouldn't give any merit to clark and his way.why?cause he straight decided for genocide as a "solution".The story is made for batman fans.It is batman story with him as protagonist.Let's not dance around that. Also superman as an ip has many problems and popularity of evil or villain superman is understandable. But,batman franchise straight up eats other franchises.

it has batman making Supergirl his new robin and beating up superman by himself.I would say they would have balls if they tried to have superman ending canon. They didn't.Heck!i would have appreciated kara taking down superman. But,that didn't happen either.Batgod is incorruptible. Why?not because of some philosophical truths. But, because His fanbase are built around that concept.

Yeah, I hope the fights are hype-worthy in this...otherwise what's the point of adapting a fighting game?

He's Superman, despite one popular videogame franchise and the Snyder plans that were hinted but never delivered on people still understand the default is heroic good guy.

I still think it has more to do with just continuing the success from the games + probably going to release this near an announcement or release of Injustice 3.

I'm really not sure what your beef is here. Superman is not a mindless robot who follows the instructions of everyone else but he, like everyone else is influenced by the way he was raised. However, there are limits to how much this affected him and in Injustice's case, he was being egged on by a combination of grief and Wonder Woman playing on his anger. It doesn't mean they didn't raise him right.

Complaining about the Kents being "absolved" comes across as looking for proof that they played no part in Clark developing the ideals that made him Superman in the first place.

Bravo to a superman who decided to rise above where he came from, what genetics he has.I guess.Too bad he went off the rails. So,not really rising above anything.

An Injust tide lowers all ships.

Well, ****. This is going to be awful for everyone who isn't a Batsimp, but especially Wonder Woman, Lois Lane and Superman. What an absolute shame.

You mean there's another Superman show on besides Superman & Lois? One that ditches the family man drama and teen angst?
