I still don't understand you. Supergirl is an integral part of the Superman mythos. I don't see how her inclusion in Superman media wouldn't make people excited. Overshadowed? She is one of Superman's top supporting characters. Does Nightwing overshadow Batman? How does Supergirl appearing translate to him constantly needing help?

I have nothing against Kara appearing, I love Supergirl. I'm just not sure of the timing in regards to this version of Superman.
