It really has aged poorly, even if I have some affection for it an am entertained by laughing AT it. Wolverine and Beast's VAs were still great though.

But yeah, it's 2021 and we still can't get a solo cartoon for the first lady of superhero comics, and the show that was infamous for having Jean Grey faint at the slightest strain is coming back.

Also why do I feel like WB will bring back JL: Unlimited as a counter argument to X-Men. It already feels like they are testing the waters with by making it a comic.
Hmm, interesting. I haven't gone back to 90s X-Men in years but I definitely remember this being my opinion when I went back the 90s Spider-Man cartoon.

I hope this X-Men revival isn't giving anyone any ideas to revive DCAU...

Batman: The Caped Crusader seems to be a quasi-revival considering Timm’s involvement. But that show is planned to exist in a universe with no other superheroes so it’s more of a spiritual successor in a way. Given Timm’s involvement in that I don’t think there’s any chance they’ll bring the old JL show back.

And the weird moaning she would do when she fainted that Honest Trailers dubbed a "Jeangasm".

Honestly the 90's Spiderman cartoon aged better than X-men.

I think it had one of the best animated versions of Diana and the Medusa final fight was cool.

I hope you're right, but no one thought that the old X-Men show would be revived either.

Me too. I think it's one of the better movies of that universe actually. But it really should've been a two-parter.

I warmed to Bloodlines a bit after letting it sink it. I still hate the villain twist and Cheetah's portrayal, but it's not as bad as the first film by any means.

It gets points over '09 at least for better takes on Diana, Steve, and Etta.

and I'll always ding the '09 film for their lame Ares design.

The '09 movie was the first piece of Wonder Woman media I ever watched, since I didn't like Justice League as a kid.

And it took me so long to realize that lady was Etta Candy even though they say her name. XD

Yeah, I wasn't allowed to watch CN as a kid so the DCAU skipped me by beyond the occasional dvd rental, so I didn't realize until years later that was supposed to be Etta.

I prefer the 09 movie. It deserved a sequel.

They should dig up whatever Gail Simone's original script was for the '09 movie before it got scribbled all over.

I slightly prefer the 09 movie over Bloodlines, but that Etta cameo was unforgivable. I headcanon that it was Circe in disguise

Bloodlines is far from great, but Diana and Steve's interactions and Etta's role in the 09 film are unspeakably terrible. The only advantage 09 has is a more focused plot and Hippolyta isn't as poorly characterized, but I wouldn't even say those two things are great either.
