At this point, X-Men Team books publishing is the Most Stable Franchise

Daredevil was already quite established. He is one of the few 3 or 4 marvel brand ( Blade, Punisher) that had a very strong cult following. Also Daredevil is known for darker mature stories, the IP is actually very respected in the comic domain, it is not one of those marvel IPs that you can easily say are just about Disney selling toys. So he may not be a marketable character in that sense but his universe is still far more revered than many other marvel universe not named Spiderman or X-Men.

Sure, I think DD is way above average as a marketable character. My only point in comparing him to Spidey was that there *are* tiers to these things -- even at the top levels, as Spidey is on another level from DD, despite both being popular.

Looking at the current trends, it's pretty clear X-books is the strongest franchise currently until we don't know if Jason Aaron is gonna to leave the Avengers after 50 issues. Let's hope a new line-up is on the ways. The GOTG look promising but still not enough get some attention, I don't feel any presence to see Eternals outside of their own books and Dan's FF look pretty boring and dull.

DC situation didn't make any improvement
1) Empty tense of JSA, Legion
2) Bendis and the Justice League (SUPER BAD)
3) Titans Academy (DC didn't put this book much effort and rather let this book die)
4) Publishing more Batbooks (THIS IS OVERKILLS because 23 related batbooks are releasing on August)

The X-line is in the best place it's been in many years right now. After a decade of editorially mandated 'mutant are on the verge of extinction' stories, first with the decimation and then with the terrigen mists and finally the 'last X-Men' Rosenberg run, plus some truly terrible writers like Guggenheim, the Krakoa era remains a breath of fresh air nearly 2 years after it began. It's proving to be a playground for idea in certain books and there's a sense of cohesion and direction that is often missing. There are always going to be some things to complain about or nitpick, but things are much better now than they used to be.
