L.o.S.P. is Legion of Super-Pets. Always has been. And Krypto, Beppo and Streaky were charter members of the L.o.S.P. Although, Beppo was never anyone's pet. In fact, all of them were autonomous creatures who shouldn't have been called pets.
I always thought that a good way to soften the ground for an actual Legion of Super-Heroes movie, would be a Legion of Super-Pets movie first. But if Krypto's gang can't use the Legion name, then there doesn't seem much chance of that.
And I guess the S.C.P.A. has a snowball's chance in a dog star of ever happening.

There's dex-Star the Red Lantern. He's a cat who was chosen by the ring so not a pet.
I hope the Movie has the most recent line up of the Super pets not the cheesy Bat-hound in a Bat mask.
