. . . I wonder if the filmmakers will go deeper with the animal characters in the film, including inventing some when necessary. We all kind of know the "Superman family" pets (the dog, cat, horse), but beyond, say, Ace, who else has had animal pets in DC's history?

In old Aquaman cartoons, Aquaman and Aqualad rode seahorses named Storm and Imp.
And, of course, there was Tusky the Walrus!

Well that teaser looks adorable, can’t wait to get the full trailer and possibly catch a glimpse of Clark as well. He’s just been begging for a 3-d animated movie design.

There are also a super ape, Alfred the cat, Batcow, and Wonder Woman's kangaroo. Plastic Man could appear as a parrot, too.
