Strom and the Tinkerer join forces with the Kingpin and Donald Pierce and creates a form of cybernetic Spider-Slayers (think Spidey’s version of Omega Sentinels), taking some of the low level non-powered criminals into super powered cyborgs who are on the ground to bring an end to vigilantes from running wild. This event will bring in all of the Spider-derivatives, as well as heroes like Daredevil, Elektra, Cage & Iron Fist, Black Cat, etc., into having to join forces to overcome these hero slayers. We’d see a reformation of the New Warriors by the end of it, being funded by former Night Thrasher playing the role that Tai & Chord had on his life. Patriot would become the new Night Thrasher, along with Hazmat, Lightspeed, Thunderstrike, and several other young heroes not being featured in the Champions.

I like that idea a lot, and it would be a great way to redeem the New Warriors after the disaster that was their role as C.R.A.D.L.E.'s enforcers in Outlawed. However, I ought to mention that if they were to create cyborg Spider-Slayers, they could do so by piggybacking off Alistair Smythe's designs, since the "Revenge of the Spider-Slayers" arc near the beginning of Dan Slott's solo run had Smythe backed up by cyborgs he augmented with Spider-Slayer tech, including an upgraded Scorpion.
