Default Atom Smasher (Albert Rothstein) Appreciation Thread (2021)

First appearance (as "Nuklon") was in All-Star Squadron #25 (September 1983) as part of Infinity Inc.

He became a member of the Justice Society of America starting in 1999, when he also changed his name to "Atom Smasher".

And more recently he was pictured as part of a new Justice Society story coming . . . soon?

Always liked him. I didn't like the direction Geoff John's took the character in later issues of JSA.

I knew who he was from various trading cards, but the first time I read any actual stories with him was in Jones & Wojkiwicz's (sp?) post-Zero Hour Justice League America. That was an... interesting introduction.

One of the most interesting and complex characters from Goyer and Johns' (then simply Johns') run. Great character, was thrilled to get him in action figure form in DCUC series...... 6?
