Default Does Wonder Woman's lasso prevent her from getting mind-controlled?

I think I've seen her use her lasso to break other people out of mind-control, but I don't think I've seen it used to prevent her from being mind-controlled herself.

No, in fact Deva once used it to read WW's mind.

One would think it should but I doubt it.

Constantine used the lasso to snap Diana out of Darkseid's mind control in the JLD: Apocalypse movie. Probably the good part of that movie.

Yes, but she has to wrap herself in the lasso for it to work.

But she has done so in Rucka’s second run and Simone’s run.

In Rucka’s run she used the lasso on herself to reveal her New 52 history was a mind trick by the Olympians, so similar enough to mind control.

Lol, Powergirl didn’t know what she was signing up for when she agreed to Cameo in a Wonder Woman book.

It really should prevent it but I can understand that being limiting on narrative and visual potential.

So I don't mind if she has to be touching it or wrapped in it for it to dispel mind control and telepathy.

    One written by Gail Simone…

Come to think of it, DC really ought to have Simone write a series of no-holds-barred Wonder Woman one-offs, and have Amanda Conner illustrate them. Sort of like Harley Quinn's Little Black Book.

Well she needs to do more than wrap it around her hand, and apparently can't use it on others while doing so.

I believed it had an aura that helped prevent mind control but not an outright immunity. There is also the fact that she at one point had the grey eyes of Athena, that granted her an insane boost in mental defenses, neither Psycho nor Max could even do anything to her. She just generally has great mental defenses due to her gifts from Athena, its really hard to mind control her.

Maxwell Lord tried to control her but due to her having the eyes and wisdom of Athena...

In the 'arch enemy' thread I suggested Dr. Psycho as arch enemy, and asked if she is immune to his powers, and the consensus was that she _is_ (at least now).
