They seem similar in power...I’d give the edge to Solar as I think Manhattan was said to be limited in how many targets he can take on?

Doc took on most of the DC super hero roster at the same time and cleaned house... Taking on multiple opponents seems fine. I
I think that must be a reference to Watchmen saying he couldn't stop every nuke on Earth, but

1) He's gone on to smash his limits from the original story in more recent stuff.
2) That article was written by someone else who had no way to really know the full scope of Doc's powers. Ozymandias thought he had a way to destroy Doc and turned out to be wrong. No real reason to assume anyone else had a better gauge of his powers.

I mean to be fair, stopping 60% of a Soviet first strike (I think that's what they suggested he could have stopped?) would have been stopping a shitload of nukes spread over the US. I have no idea how many would have been in a first strike, but the Soviets had tens of thousands.

He didn't cure his ex's cancer because as his arc sorta covers, he was falling out of touch with reality, and ultimately deemed humanity (and it's woes) largely trivial and not worth bothering with. It's the same reason he let the Comedian shoot the woman pregnant with his (the Comedian's) child, in Vietnam, even after specifically saying "don't do it". He just... really didn't care enough to think to try.
