Exodus and Sinister in the corners facing off like Mortal Kombat characters, smack down better be epic...
Well true, but apart from that she is yet to figure in any significant way on Krakoa. She's no different than Maddrox who is waiting tables at the gala and doing all sorts of unflattering menial and casual labour at Xavier's shell companies. They both have roles but not worth real panel time I guess.
I love seeing a miniseries instead of a bloated run.
CANNOT WAIT!!!
This looks great. I've been enjoying the Hell out of Hickman's run so seeing things come together feels great. I wonder if Trial of Magneto will serve as a kind of prelude to this event, which will probably usher in the next stage of this run (Reign of X started 8 months ago, but by the time this story ends, it'll be more like a year, which is how long Dawn of X lasted with the Diamond Shutdown included).
From the Gala to here, it looks like we're getting a series of connected events. Hopefully this turns out as good as X of Swords
I was told it's a marketing move, apparently issues that are debutant or flagships beginning a new cycle sell better.Dont know how true it is , since by the same token they can appear to disrupt continuity but I guess it is what it is.I personally wouldn't renumber after just 20 something issues, 50 maybe but just under 25 is ridiculous.
During All New All Different Era of Marvel; Amazing Spider-Man, Squirrel Girl, Ant-Man, Howard The Duck, Thor, and others were relaunched TWICE in on ONE year!
If I remember correctly Ant-Man was at issue 5, so issue count definitely does not matter.
Never underestimate Marvel's tendency to make a gimmick for more sales, especially when it comes to Hickman, do you remember Secret Wars and the hundreds of tie in issues
