Yes, absolutely. I can already see his name emblazoned on a solo title.
Maybe someday Maxam will return. Perhaps with a few tweaks here and there. Something like...
Maxam 's possession of the Time Stone, however brief, changes him, allowing him to manifest consciously in one of his many incarnations over the space/timecontinuum. In one of his lives his mass-acquiring powers go out of whack and turns him into what they call a Space-Eater -- an entity whose growth accelerates faster than the expansion of the universe. Oddly enough, his Space powers are the reason why he can't stay in any single incarnation for very long before jumping into a different incarnation in another point in time. His story arcs would basically encapsulate his travels up and down the time stream... from the prehistoric to the far, far distant future. And in each of those incarnations, he'd be a different version of himself with different attributes, capabilities and powers (if at all) -- T-Rex hunter in pre-history, Roman centurion in the Bronze Age, astronomer and student assistant to Galileo, confidential aid to Harriet Tubman, a British WWI soldier, 1940s Olympian, an Asian-African pilot on the first UN-sponsored mission to Saturn in 2062, a grunt working on the crew of Thanos' Sanctuary star destroyer in 1970s, a rebel against the Badoon, the Praetor of the Imperial Guard in 4043, etc., etc. Endless adventures that are equal parts exhilarating and maddening. At some point in his adventures, Maxam would meet Infinity, the cosmic abstract, and realize that she is the true cause of his plight. What does the empress of all cosmic entities have in store for our living anachronism? Only Time will tell.

Another view for the Gatherers here. That's around the time I started reading comics so those Harras runs are some of my favorites.

Is that Jason Macendale(sp) from Machine Man first appearance?

Always thought a throw down between the Gatherers and Exiles was one of those inevitiable things that seemed a natural direction for the mag to take. Likewise Blink and the rest of the team encountering Marvel UK's Warheads. A group of mercs who work for the sinister Mys-Tech Corporation who journey to other realms in order obtain new technologies ,and mystical items for the company. Another natural match up that writes itself.
From Marvel's GODZILLA:KING OF THE MONSTERS#21-22 where the Fantastic Four used Dr. Doom's time machine to send a shrunken Godzilla to Earth's age of dinosaurs. Or where Reed Richards thought he was sending the Big G to. On that primordial world Godzilla fell into conflict with the savage Lizard Warriors ,and their war beasts who tried to conquer the Valley of Flame. The home of Devil Dinosaur, and Moon Boy. After a short tussle between Godzilla and Devil Dinosaur, Moon Boy realized the Lizard Warriors were the real threat instead of Godzilla who convinced the Christmas Colored Combatants to join forces against the Lizard Warriors. The story ended with Moon Boy tricking the Lizard Warriors into a falling into a pit where a time/space warp was located, and they disappeared in a flash. My thinking is that the group of dinosaur riding barbarians disappearing in a space/time warp that could send them anywhere could fit into just about any book. The Guardians of the Galaxy, or the jungles of South America, Africa. Or even downtown Los Angelas.
