I know they are not her memories and I've always believed Krakoa clones, so it's not reincarnation but because Xavier in HoX5 I think calls it anima or life force, one could interpret cerebro as bestowing the mind which in this case does not distinguish it from 'spirit' to animate the husk.If that is the case then even if Laura woke up with no memory of her time in the vault because cerebro couldn't retrieve those memories she could still hunger for them ,as if a part of her life is missing.As I said the writers don't really get deep into the metaphysics of it but if they tried to explain they could that it is reincarnation but very contingent on cerebro.Though yeah the simpler and more sensible explanation that I stick by as default is they are clones.

This isn't a problem. Majority of mutants lose some part of the monetized and they are never shown to long for them

Well if (and this is a huge if)1. Xavier keeps pre-cog memories on a separate drive/cerebro but they are 'top secret' and 2. The logic crystals already have the full content of all mutant memories (though I'd presume they are blank and are there to be filled) -then sure she could eventually resurrect Irene, but without any memories in storage it's anyone's guess how she could pull it off. I'm eager to be surprised.

That would be interesting if Mystique's machinations end up *saving* Krakoa by helping restore the 'missing memories' that haven't been getting updated (like Domino's missing memories of her capture).

Don't really see that happing. Core menbership of the Avengers and the FF are too tied to the current power structure for something like that to happen. Avengers like Strange and Sersi and the FF kids who aren't that wrapped up in core membership issues of the Avengers/FF are the ones who are most likely to as shown.


Loved that we really saw no BP/Storm interaction. Hopefully a good sign for the future of that relationship.

She was on the cover for John Ridleys BP run, but if X of Swords was any indication there was an editorial mandated at the X-Office to make her burn bridges with Wakanda at all cost

We have had covers with folks on them that have never appeared in books.

We have had covers made that were made months ago and released way later on.

Remember Black Panther #3 will be his 200th. So expect more covers like this between now and October.

Yeah. It's funny that Shiro, in particular, joined the X-Men at the same time as *Wolverine* and yet he's practically a cipher.
