So we are nearly 3 years into the relaunch. Why on earth is it still called the new 52? There isn't even 52 comics and it really isn't all that new

But New York is named after a a British duke. I don't think there was a Duke of 52.

I'd prefer that 'The New 52' tagline be replaced by 'D to the C!'.

Rhyme time is still pretty much intact and it maintains the funky freshness that was desired in rebooting the entirety of the DC Universe.

I wonder if the timeline will still be 5 years entering the tenth year of the New 52.

Wasn't the new 52 supposed to represent we got the multiverse back with 52 worlds and that there was 52 comics? So the New 52 can still have the name even though there isn't released 52 comics each month.
