Universal Church of Truth will be the villains of the game. I like that choice. I like Cosmo's Russian accent.
I think a better question is if Mantis becomes usable during combat if she joins the team.
Apologies I forgot how to embed videos. Not sure I could do it on a cell phone even if I remembered how.😁
So this leads to a gameplay footage and first impressions vid from IGN.

Reviews are coming out.
The overall sentiment is looks stunning, VA is amazing, gameplay is shallow, story is deep.
Seeing lots of 8s, 4/5 stars, Bs, etc for grades.

The gameplay is looking like the most disappointing aspect. I don't like the idea of having to call upon the other Guardians to do damage. I couldn't I just switch characters if that's the route they were going to go with the combat?
I brought it and it's currently downloading.
I have enjoyed this game so far. I'd prefer to be able to switch to the characters themselves, but it's not a huge bother to order them to do things instead. It at least doesn't have the crippling issues I experienced with the Avengers launch. I've loved some of the lore, interactions and easter eggs spoilers:end of spoilers. It already has more variation in setting and enemies than Avengers has had. It has a large amount of accessibility options. Which helps people like me who have some limitations. It's pretty solid.
like Jack Flag showing up
Love is for souls, not bodies.
I started the game and I'm enjoying it. Fans of the movies will definitely love this game. The banter between the Guardians is great.
Square must have spend a lot of money getting licensed music for this game. I was definitely not expecting that.
