Where do I begin? I love the setup with the terraforming of Mars and having it being inhabited by the Arrakan mutants and how this will tie into books like SWORD and the rest of the cosmic bloc of the MU. I dug the pacing of every panel and the dialogue, as well. It wasn't too dumbed down, but not too analytical, neither. It was digestible for all readers. As far as the confrontational nature of the mutants on Krakoa towards the rest of the flatscans of the MU, I loved how those fears were played with and somewhat debunked at the same time on-panel. Overall, I am VERY intrigued by the direction Duggan is taking the title and setting up his run going forward. Let the reign of X commence!

Eh...as kings goes he is the normal for Monarchs in MU. Before Namor, Tchalla and Black Bolt, the Atlantean, Wakanda and Inhuman kingdoms were peaceful, prosperpous, albeit with some wrongness to fix here and there. After them....RUINATION!!
Nikolai II Alexandrovich Romanov and Louis XVI see them and say " well we weren't that bad as kings".
The threenof them make a strong argument against the concept of royalty and monarchY!

If it's any consolation....Angel, Beast and Cyclops are not Omega and will never be.

It would ruin Cyclops if he were made Omega IMO. I don't even like Iceman being Omega but it's a done deal.

Angel is one mediocre mutant; I can live with that if he wasn't made to be so uninteresting in every other aspect too. Since Dawn of X, Angel has been one of the most lukewarm characters ever.

I honestly doubt the mutants truly care at this point. Namor can stay exactly where he is.

And they definitely wont be worried about namor once inferno comes & goes. Too much to deal with inside of the empire.

I read that book. He did not spend issues fighting them. That series spanned issues, but the only time he fought cho, he beat him in a page worth of time. That was not a mini of one fight.

The only thing that may temper Mystique's anger is the fact that Mars is basically Arrako not Krakoa, I don't think she has beef with all mutants just Xavier,Magnus and anyone else between her and Irene.I actually wonder why she can't make pals in Arrako to help her. I guess the answer could be that the whole council of Arrako are no different than X and M "what's in it for me?" types

I think it would more do to their mentality of the strong vs the weak, and in view of that ask her why would they help her if she is not strong enough to help herself.
