We all know: someone gets got. Whether it's a frame job or someone ticked off Maggy on the night of his big special project, someone just lost breathing privileges at the Hellfire Gala, and with a week left it's time to get your bets in on who the poor sucker was.

My current guess is Tommy. Has direct ties to both Magneto and X-Factor, Mags said how much he disliked Pretenders in PSX, has dubious mutant status...it'd work.

end of spoilers it's not her I think. The death related to the titular trial occurs in X Factor 10, so it'd be weird if it's meant to be that.

I also don't see how on earth it'd be Magneto if that were the case

Obvioulsy there is a murder. My point was there is no law against killing fellow mutants. So I'm not sure why you have several mutants listed in the dead pool. Would they put Magneto on trial if he didn't break a Krakoan law?

Lol if this option was in the pool I would vote for this.

But really looking at the preview from SWORD where people are leaving and Mags is alone on the Gala building I get the feeling the murder will happen AFTER the Gala so most people in the pool like Tommy, Namor, Franklin and Wanda(who´s not even at the Gala) are quite safe from evil Magneto.

I can't remember if that one guest drinking from a fountain and turning into a plant monster in one of the earlier Gala issues was resolved yet or not. If not, maybe Magneto ends up killing that guy. To most people it would appear that the guest was affected by Krakoan water, got turned into a monster, and got subsequently killed.
