It was cute that Magneto remembered Sam, and maybe from the AXIS event.
On a side, I really appreciate how much Ewing has been using SWORD to connect the Hickman X-books to the greater Marvel universe, even if he's using his own book like Guardians to do it. Gyrich mentioned mutants and compared their level of danger to Hulk in one issue of Inmortal Hulk and he also was in one previous issue of SWORD where it was confirmed he´s part of Orchis.

Star-Lord is better at diplomacy than Nova.
Magneto is extending an olive branch and Nova goes straight to abusive cop mode.
But Rich should remember, in times of war, he united Kree, Skrull, galactis heralds, etc to fight the Annihilation wave.
Why is he making a big stank with Magneto. Doom is currently on his own team.
