The Godzilla vs Kong guy wasn't nearly as bad as Jar Jar, or Anakin for that matter
The supporting characters in thr mummy 2017 were pretty bad

Yeah the human subplots in Godzilla movies are just filler nobody cares about because the fight can't run two hours. In fact, "Kong: Skull Island", which was in the 'verse but not a Godzilla movie, was the only American one where it worked.

Then of course there's the deliberating annoying characters. I have long had mixed feelings about the "working girl" from the Man with two brains...

That lawyer guy from the first Jurassic Park, but I'm pretty sure you weren't supposed to like him. I'm pretty sure there is more but I'm drawing blanks.
