Default Who is the most stand out X-MEN female character

I know many will just see this question as a chance to vote for their personal favourites, but if we can be as objective as we can, which female character do you think XMEN readers and non readers cannot help but just be drawn to...they just got that X factor, very special thing going on.

I always felt to me it was Rogue, and it all started with her weird but very cool hair. Also there was just something about Rogue that I felt, girls would want to be and guys will want to be with and even the villains will somehow also fall in love with her.

Xmen history has always made it out to be Jean because The Phoenix chose her and she is the main girl in a love triangle with maybe the two most important XMen male characters. Scott and Wolverine but I always felt Rogue just had something more and this was proven to me even more in X-MEN evolution. Jean was the pretty popular girl and Rogue was a angst goth and made to look not as pretty as Jean, I still was drawn to Rogue and it only made sense that towards the later half of season 3 and most of season 4, Rogue had the most important story line of any other character in X-MEN evolution and was the main character needed to stop Apocalypse.

Storm, Rogue, Jean, Psylock, Emma...in that order.
Some of us wait, some of us act.

Ororo, right from the first time I picked up an X-Men comic back in 1980.

    Though I love Jean too.

    What, no X-23?
Yes, she's not all that significant to the X-men as a whole, but she does have the most solo comics; that's got to count for something in regards to standing out.
    Context is king.

X-23's most basic surface level characteristic that any idiot should grasp: Stoicism.
I don't demand that her every minor appearance be a nuance in-depth examination of her character, but is it to much to ask she be written in Archetype?! This is storytelling 101! If you want people to stay invested in a character, you need to, at the bare minimum, write them such a way that they can plausibly be believed to be the same character!

Jubilee and Dazzler? Really? You’re trolling a little bit there.

Anyway, Storm. End of story. There’s no other choice.

Exactly this. These two just stand head and shoulders above the rest, IMO.

(And I totally didn't pick them because they are my favorites, which are D-tier characters like Dust and Tempo and Unuscione.)

It was Storm & Psylocke for me, but unquestionably Rogue was an IT factor lady as well.

I went with Psylocke because writers always seem to want to use her. despite the fact that Jean and Storm are the more iconic ladies and especially since 2010 and it hasn't seemed to
    stop.

It kind of kicks you in the face doesn't it.
