It is a FACT that the Dazzling Dazzler STANDS OUT as
the FIRST Woman of the Mutant race to have her own ongoing series back in 1981...
IMO Dazzler is to also be the FIRST woman of the Mutant race to have her own Disney+ series...

    In order:

    1. Storm - most visually distinctive and most iconic
    2. Jean - because Phoenix is also ICONIC and legendary, especially her Dark Phoenix aesthetic being part of mainstream pop culture.
    3. Rogue - no Foxmen movies will destroy her 90's aesthetic and presence
    4. Psylocke - she stands out because of her purple ninja butterfly aesthetic. One of my personal favorites, honestly.
    ---some distance---
    Jubilee
    Emma Frost

Storm, end of. Rogue’s been my favourite but Storm is the iconic chef’s kiss of X-ladies.

Agreed, but to be fair, The Black Queen aesthetic belonged to Emma Peel/Diana Rigg fifteen years before Chris stole it for the Hellfire Club.

Storm hasn't really stood out all that often to me ever since X-Treme X-Men. Actually, I think that you could make an argument that she stopped standing out during the Blue/Gold era back in the 90's. Before that I would have voted Storm, and pretty easily. She was legitimately one of the greatest characters in all of comics between the Dark Phoenix Saga and the Blu/Gold era. I honostly didn't care for her that much during the 90's era and afterwards. I only came to see her as a great character after I was able to get ahold of the the old Essential X-Men reprint stories. Her star has really fallen in my opinion.

I was always in the Jean Grey camp should live and stay alive. However, after reading her stories since her return to life under Rosenberg, I've come to regard her as not adding much to the X-Men.
I'm now in the camp that thinks Jean should stay dead. She just seems more valuable that way.

I almost voted for Magik, just because her star seems to be on the rise due to her appearance in multiple comic books, but I thought that it was a little early for her to prove that she has that kind of lasting star power.
Rogue's my choice to, the TV show cements that for me.Rogue, She hulk and Black Cat got really lucky w/ them unlike some like Jean

I'd say Psylocke is a bit standout as well

Love Jean and like Storm but I don't see them as standout, specially w/ powersets. While both can do a lot more their basics are TP/TK and Lightning/wind/weather manip.

If I had only one answer I would definitely say Storm. But I think it depends on the decade, so:

Jean in the 60’s and 70’s
    Storm in the 80’s
    Psylocke (Betsy) in the 90’s
Emma in the 00’s and 10’s
    Psylocke (Kwannon) in the 20’s
A picture would last longer darling...

    Going by decade:

60s: Jean by default since she was the only female character.
    70s and 80s: Storm
    90: Rogue because of TAS
    00s Emma
    10s Magik

Well Storm appeared in 1975 and during the 70s we had the phoenix. It was Jeans decade. Storm was supporting cast in the 70s. She became the lead in the 80s though!
Its between Storm and Jean. Depends. If this is about comics then Storm (nobody in comics can beat her 80s character development). If this is about other media movies cartoons etc then it's definitely Jean, Storm was almost absent in movies. Rogue takes the 3rd place, but i love the 3 of them equally.

'Stand-out' isn't necessarily a measure of most featured or main character, it's who stands out from the rest. Storm was a breakout character from the start and much of Jean's development after 1975 was a response to Storm's inclusion in an effort to bring her up to Storm's level. Cyclops remained the male lead until DPS but Wolverine still overshadowed him from day 1.
