    I voted Rogue.

Storm hasn't really stood out all that often to me ever since X-Treme X-Men. Actually, I think that you could make an argument that she stopped standing out during the Blue/Gold era back in the 90's. Before that I would have voted Storm, and pretty easily. She was legitimately one of the greatest characters in all of comics between the Dark Phoenix Saga and the Blu/Gold era. I honostly didn't care for her that much during the 90's era and afterwards. I only came to see her as a great character after I was able to get ahold of the the old Essential X-Men reprint stories. Her star has really fallen in my opinion.

I was always in the Jean Grey camp should live and stay alive. However, after reading her stories since her return to life under Rosenberg, I've come to regard her as not adding much to the X-Men.
I'm now in the camp that thinks Jean should stay dead. She just seems more valuable that way.

I almost voted for Magik, just because her star seems to be on the rise due to her appearance in multiple comic books, but I thought that it was a little early for her to prove that she has that kind of lasting star power.

    Lightbulb To me, the Answer!

"She was legitimately one of the greatest characters in all of comics between the Dark Phoenix Saga and the Blu/Gold era.".

Excellent observation/conclusion. IMO, that era is where Keving Feige and co., are to look at

in order for a proper live action characterization of the Omega-level Mutant Ororo Munroe in the Marvel Cinematic Universe,

taking the movie going public by Storm!

    Storm duh.

"I mean I been Storm, X-men been formed" - Nicki Minaj

    Rogue would probably be second.

    Storm.

But even the #10 X-female is better than the #1s of other franchises!

Yes please. I'm looking forward to the movies' Storm to be front and centre and truly be Claremont's Ororo at last.

Storm. She has been getting mad props in the new era and anyone who says different is smoking some major chronic.

Storm immediately drew my eye out of everyone in the team selection in Marvel Ultimate Alliance and been a favorite ever since so she gets my vote lol.

This right here. There really is an embarrassment of riches over here on the X-side of things than in other teams like the Avengers (top ladies, Wanda, who *finally* seems to be getting over what Bendis did to her, and Wasp, who, eh, not quite ever 'made it', IMO, no matter how much I like her, certainly not on the level of Storm or Jean or Rogue) or Fantastic Four (although, again, Susan deserves better).

Probably Storm she has had the most consistent presence and prominence since her debut pretty much...Jean was 1st and is important but has spent alot of time dead or out of the picture...Rogue,Psylocke etc come to mind next after them Kitty and Emma Frost the latter as hero or antagonist.

    I voted Storm.

I think if you ask people who don’t read comics a lot, they’ll name Storm or Jean. But I think Storm will get named more often.

I like Storm and I like Jean, but they’re not my favorite female X-Men. So this vote wasn’t based on who I like best. However I’ll be honest in saying that when I think of the X-Men in general, Wolverine and Storm come to mind first.
