Knowing it’s ending, how would you rate Spencer’s run?

At this point it seems Nick Spencer's major contributions are reversing recent developments in very lengthy stories (twelve issues to kill of Kraven again, the entire Kindred story to reverse Harry's return), and pitting Spider-Man against supernatural enemies. He's got one issue to go, and I should reread the rest of his run before giving a concrete judgment.

Spider-Man's old supporting cast dying off is fine as long as they're not all dead and new, diverse characters are introduced to have stories about instead. Slott tried.

What about if they do die though, and they're replaced by clones too

I'm not a fan of her's, but she is.

Lily Hollister also, though maybe more considered a villain than 'supporting cast'.

12 issues to kill Kraven, fix Black cat, have a great Lizard story w/ spider-man's morals tested, great MJ and Peter moment at the end and that's of the top of my head for Hunted.That's more than worth it.

Also add Yuri Watanabe to the list - maybe not by comic book appearances but she crossed over into the PS4 Spider-Man game, which is a kind of perpetuity which shouldn't be ignored.

Yuri is cool as f*ck.Anyone other than Slott writing her should be great, ps5 game may have Wraith as a side plot.

Yeah, I'd definitely count on it. They did the set-up in the first game, they'll do the Wraith turn (spoilers!) in the next.

To me, the idea that Spencer gave is good, but the guy himself plays with his idea too long and makes it that whatever he did, the landing of his idea will always be bad. Not to mention he stick to much to Spectacular series that it feels like his story is something you found in secondary book and not primary.

4/10 Should just give to Jed Mckay or Donny Cates.

You asked "When did she appear last?" as a complete question and introduced a statement a line-break after opining that it wasn't during Spencer's run, which is a bit different than asking that I answer within the specific parameters of it being by Spencer.

Plus I'm not sure why Spencer is a sudden a sticking point - by your own initial metric, the character is valid:

By endured I mean featuring in several different comics and appearing more consistently.

I enjoyed Slott's run and felt like this was a mess. It started off strong but Kindred really ruined things for me.

I like them both, but I'm ready for Spencer to end already. Kindred has just soured me. As for Slott's run, well its all just enjoyable Spider-Man stories to me, from Lee to Spencer.
