Characters You Don't Care For

Not particular characters you actively dislike, but are ambivalent towards.

The ones that are intended to be funny because, to me, they never are. That’s excepting the beginning of JLI which I loved even though it didn’t make me laugh. My sense of humor just doesn’t mesh with “funny papers.” I’m pretty sure I’ve never actually laughed out loud at a comic book. So my answers include G’Nort, Ambush Bug, Lobo, and the like. I don’t actively dislike them, I’m mostly just nonplussed by them.

Booster Gold. I don't like the concept of a guy who cheated at sports and then steals equipment to make himself a hero.

Guy Gardner. I think he's an idea whose time has passed.

Lobo. This is another Harley Quinn situation where I think they are just trying too hard.

Truthfully, I'm fed up with Batman. I love the character deep down still but given the excessive amount of titles and the fact that the MacFarlane toy line has essentially become a Batman toy line, for the first time in 20 some years I had to drop everything relating to Batman. I just can't continue to support the character when DC is allowing him to crush the soul of its entire universe.

Beast Boy.

To me that character has what us wrestling fans like to call "go away heat". It's a reference to how fans don't care about certain wrestlers whether as characters or their in-ring work, you just think they are so boring that you want to change the channel whenever the guy pops up on your TV. That's how I see a character like Beast Boy. When I saw him in the TT cartoon back in the day I always wished I could skip over his scenes(no offense to Greg Cipes, not really his fault) or when I read a Titans book I just want to ignore any of his scenes. I don't dislike him, I just cannot bring myself to care about him.

Harley Quinn - for some reason I've never enjoyed her comic appearances. The animated stuff? GOLD!
Dr Fate - Not sure why. Love the look, love the magical corner of the DCU but this guy has never done it for me.
Blue Devil - Never clicked with me either.
