I usually see someone else link this every Monday but I didn't see it today so I figured I'd drop a line.

Jordan D White is the guest again and it's mostly follow up to Planet Size. The part I got really hyped for is there seems to be confirmation that Arrako will actually be playing a significant role moving forward. I know that may seem obvious after Planet Size, but I had expected to see more of the Arraki after XoS ended and we really only got a few teases here and there. It also sounds like we will be meeting more Arraki omega's not already known to us and there may be some conflict with the Krakoan omega's. Sign me up for all of that please!

Favorite part of the article is jdw saying he had to pitch mars to all the editors amd writers and it was great to hear most were behind it or at least intrigued. Makes me feel marvel is going to come back more unified and it will be more sol vs the galaxy in general which im totally here for. And also new threats for the rest of the mu because those arrako mutants that love earth drink and food i am sure will get up to no good in other books. Lol

Beyond that something about that image of magneto makes me feel whoever he kills its on purpose and its to show mutants and humans that even he is subject to the law. So mags bout to go full on martyr. Maybe mass destruction of orchis planet or henry gyrich
Someone that is a threat to mutants will be his target imo to show it doesn't matter who the human is, the law stands. Add that to sword and it just seems like where its going.

anyone can fly onto the island. It is kind of surprising someone like exodus who is an omega telekinetic doesn't have a shield or something around the island. I would think at his level it would be cool to see him produce one but it's running in his subconscious so he can still actively multi task. I mean we rarely see him leave Krakoa anyway.

Strange was the first to make a landing on the island last year when he was seeking Magik.

Well the flower only lets you use the gates. Tony and Doom got to the island their own way. Tommy has a flower, which implies every time he's been to Krakoa before he's physically ran across the ocean to get there.

The Gala is set on Emma's Island Mykines, not Krakoa.
Doom and Stark...clearly see themselves above such formalities. And given their status and that they were invited, Emma is certainly not going to have them "escorted off the island" because they broke protocol. Namor had no flower either...but then he gifted the island and is King of Atlantis so...none needed.

They also could not have stopped Doom, Stark or Namor without incurring mass casualties, even if they would have been resurrected and been able to stop them eventually. And as you said, they were invited. Who cares about a flower at that point?

Shatterstar won't be joining Excalibur, on one hand that's good because Howard won't be writing him, but it also means that he and Rictor are probably not getting back together. It's good to hear that they do have plans for him to appear somewhere, please don't be X-Corp or X-Force.
