How will the Harley crossover work if he hates her? Their interactions so far has been nothing close to pleasant, and I cant see him not killing her if she stuck around him.

Comicvine has the preview for issue #2, and the art is as good as ever. Still wary about the cliffhanger from the previous issue, but we'll see... this is still Tony Daniel's best effort at writing, hope he delivers.

I thought there would be a variant cover, though. Weird that it's not shown with the preview.

Not really a fan of them shoehorning Harley in the book but whatever. Deathstroke from the Teen Titans animated series doesn't get a lot of props.

I think the art has been excellent with the relaunch. I like that Slade's new costume is sleek rather than the bulky heavy armor he had before.

I was looking for a preview of Deathstroke # to get a glimpse of the previously announced David Aja variant, only to discover it was somehow a typo from DC and they didn't even ask David about it. How on Earth did they end up screwing up solicitations like that?

Instead, we get a variant by Tony Daniel. I still like the regular cover better, I think.

I would agree that the art has been a high point so far regardless of my thoughts on the story and writing. Samurai Jack could take notes off some of those mob minion fights.

There was also the instance in Identity Crisis where he takes down an entire squadron of Justice Leaguers, including Green Arrow, Hawkman, Wally, Kyle, and Zatanna, all by himself.

We don't know yet. He was dying and I Ching took him in and he woke up de-aged. I really hope this is only temporary.

They also hanged his hair color. He has always been blond when he was young in other continuities. I guess the creators of his current book are more familiar with Bennett's version of Slade than the comic version. Or they did it deliberately for "synergy."

I like this design...
It takes the best 90s elements and mixes them with the current video game trends.

However, I do feel sorry for any artists coming after Daniels or if they use Deathstroke in animation.
We'll probably see a costume change again whenever Daniels leaves the book to make it more simplified.
