I love evil counterparts: Reverse Flash, Sinestro, Venom, the Psycho Rangers, etc.

We’ve had 4 major cartoons of the turtles, and two (and a half for the CGI film) movie franchises. We’ve also only had one truly displayed “Dark Turtles” concept… but we’ve had the Foot’s upper echelons expanded significantly in almost all of these media, for normal humans, mutants, and even magic immortals and demigods.

So, pick what line-up you would have for the “Foot Elite” as a kind of non-mutated/pre-mutated (if you want to swing that way) “Psycho Turtles, lost their counterparts, and what weapon/weapons you would give them to duel their counterparts with.

Michelangelo - Tatsu (‘89, Secret of the Ooze, TMNT Nick), with the taciturn, humorless and too-serious (and thus funny in the opposite way) baddie contrasting with Mikey’s exuberance and talkative nature. Weapon: Kusarigama, so it’s battle of the flails between him and Mikey.

Donatello - Khan (TMNT ‘03), with an increased emphasis on mental abilities, and switching out his past for a Foot Mystic’s, so we get magic vs science with Donnie (evil science being Stockman’s thing). Weapon: Kanabo, making him a full-fledged genius bruiser, and doubling his weapon as a massive magic staff.

Raphael - Hun (TMNT ‘03, TMNT Nick) because the classic “big bully” vs big brother is a great idea, and his history with Raph’s best bud Casey adds an extra layer to it. Weapon: Tekko (Horseshoe style), so that he has “counter-weapons” like Raph does, but more brute force.

Leonardo - Karai (…a lot) because they already have a tendency to end up complicated frenemies, and she’s the best fit for a counterpart for Leo as leader. Weapon: Ninjato… and Jitte, so she has a sword breaker for her off hand weapon.
