I just want Ben and Peter to hug and make up.
Bros once more.
Even after this temporary story ends, I wish he could be more a part of the current Spider-Person gang.
Maybe Ben and Gwen: The Friendly Neighborhooded Spider-People?!
I'm feeling similar, the management of the flagship title has been strange. They've been easing into the thrice-monthly with all the dang specials and point one issues but I don't know if they can handle it like Steve Wacker managed it.
It's surreal seeing Ben get to be Spidey again, it's cool to see but it's also really random- not only that but the way they're pitching it here I just don't see the real hook yet as it just sounds like Superior again but maybe he's not as much of a douche.

According to IGN article, Peter goes to serious depression at the end of Nick Spencer run, to the point he is willing to pass the Spider-Man title to Ben.
What were my comments about Peter as a loser and Damsel In Distress? This is “Pathetic Peter” on steroids. All that is needed is psychobabble about your mind is screwed up because your parents died. I actually would prefer Dan Slott coming back then these new writers. At least we got RYV
Well, actually, I can see this happen. I mean, as long as Peter is still alive, he can always return as Spidey. Also, I find this as a plausible excuse. I mean, after being tortured is such way by Kindred's machinations and stuff, I think a depression is the least he can suffer.
Hey, watch it, pal! Kindred made Peter pass through death several times. Ben Reilly went crazy with this, so Peter having a depression about it is not about "pathetic". How would you fill if they kill you several times?

I certainly hope the IGN thing is not true. That would certainly be the most downer ending since...the end of Ben Reilly's last series come to think of it.
Well, at least Peter being too depressed to be Spider-Man can't last. It's just an extended Spider-Man No More with a replacement character.
