I certainly have many, many titles that are favorites of mine, but it's a more meaningful thread if everyone is forced to pick one.

I like to make it easy for people rather than overloading them with homework. There are some writers who only did a handful of stories for a character, yet those stories were great. It's not the quantity, it's the quality.

Case in point, Alan Brennert on Batman. You can read every Batman story he did in the 2016 hardcover, TALES OF THE BATMAN: ALAN BRENNERT.

If you want to be picky and say that's not a run--because it comes from diverse titles--then out of those comics, I would pick his run on THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD--issues 178, 181, 182 and 197.

Nightwing 1996 absolutely! I have to put that on my reading list!

Back in the day, I read Denny O Neil’s Nightwing mini in 1995 that was going to kick off his regular series.
(There were exciting rumours at the time that Nightwing would be the next hero to advance to his own title.)

Chuck Dixon is also one of my all time favourite writers for his work on the original Birds of Prey, so why didn’t I read this series at the time?

Timing, zero hour happened, Hal went insane and was replaced, the Legion timeline was wiped out, and as much as I love Dixon’s work on Green Arrow, he was given the marching orders to kill off Green Arrow, so after that I quit DC comics. Hello Marvel!

Ironically it was Dixon that brought me back when I heard about BOP through the grapevine, but it wasn’t until Kevin Smith brought Ollie back that I started collecting again.

I confess this is on my list, I read the first JSA reboot run by Johns, but by this time I was winding down my titles a bit, but anything with Sandman on the cover is a must read for me. Geoff Johns for me, is probably the best DC writer of the 2000’s.

Is there a definitive Wonder Woman run that everyone agrees on is the greatest?

I won't spoil things with Ted. He's not on the core team, but he does have a ather important role later in the story and in the annual/special issues.
