A steampunk version of C&C could actually be pretty interesting. It would probably look similar to WWI/early WWII with MCVs and stuff. Actually, the C&C paradox mod for RA3 has some of that.

I don't think I could reimagine Girl Genius as work of Steam Punk. It seems like too much of a stretch for everyone to go around wearing two corsets and galvanic monocles under their goggles while riding their Tesla-inspired Bifurcated Velocipede to their Top-Hatted Bipartison Velociraptorpedo.
