Marvel has bastardized the Phoenix beyond belief at this point. It belongs with Jean Grey or nobody.

I used to feel that way. If not Jean, then Rachel, but no more.

But it's too late now to complain about it. The PF has gone viral to the point of becoming its own pandemic. You'd think there'd be a cosmic gatekeeper of some sort out there who would take umbrage to that sort of thing.

I wasn't talking about a versus situation per se, merely using the same logic that gave the PF to the Avengers. What's good for the goose.... On some levels I think it would be really fun to see Wolverine become Frog Thor, hammer, claws, ribbit and all.

Ok. I thought you were being antagonistic with the whole "there can be only one major franchise", which I always think is nonsense. I don't think Jean not having the Phoenix is hurting her.

Anyway, I'm sure frog wolverine would be cool in its own way.
