THIS! This is the rogue i love. Maybe it's because of the cartoon but i was sold at the "Ah..."

Rogue can either take away the power or duplicate it can do both.


The real difference is that synch only has one power which is to imitate.


Rogue has several based in absorption. She takes powers and she has been limitless in this. Synch is not.
Rogue took the power of every hero on earth (and almost every omega on earth) proving she is superior to the overrated omega. That they were useless in that story is worth mentioning.


Rogue takes vital energy which with this could kill 'thor or apocalyose.


Rogue also takes or scans minds



Rogue takes emotions.


Rogue also physical and intellectual abilities.


The differences of the two are enough synch only has one power.

Rogue has several related to absorption.

Rogue may be able to absorb Jeans powers but no way could she use it with as much raw power as Jean could. A pale imitation at best.

Pardon me, but don't be so pessimistic. Duggan revealed the following on Twitter regarding Jean: "She has some really cool stuff in issue 2. A circuit with Lorna that is so cool." Maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but I actually think Duggan is going to do her justice.

This really cannot come soon enough! Rogue is looking so great here! Duggan did an amazing job with the entire team in Uncanny Avengers, I'm confident this book is going to be amazing, a good showing for everyone, and my God is the art amazing.

Love seeing rogue get knocked around and then quickly back in the fray back for revenge just like in the late 80's early 90's. Can't wait to see that sass again after that stint on Excalibur

I dont hate ANY of these characters and none of them are my favorites.

Well Rogue stands out and I like Cyclops compared to a lot of other people.

But...

BUT...

I am so excited to see ALL OF THESE CHARACTERS in action.

I do NOT care if some of their powers allow them to do similar feats.

To ME its all about the new interactions OR some long unseviced interactions between characters.

And come on Pepe makes all these characters look damn good and I wish Wind Dancer was on this team.
