Marte Gracia does not get near enough credit for his exquisitely stellar colouring.
Reviews are just one person's opinion that has absolutely nothing to do with me. When I read the book, then I'll judge for myself.

Just read it. Dull, boring and It felt like the same comic I've read a hundred times so I guess the straight white people will love it.
I'd rather elemets be taken from what came before hickman run but it's fox has touched on a few of the main themes and if Disney didn't want to go too deep in social issues on Might Ducks on disney+ i just don't see them leaning in as heavily on persecution and annihilation as previous x-men runs so i'm perfectly okay with them plucking certain things but starting off from Hickman run. Let us at least understand the fear so it starts balanced, a sect of humanity appearing months after a huge snap and saying the world changed and they are mutant, is a lot better starting point to addressing acceptance from a fair place and to see both sides unfold than going into it so much with a narrative of adapting old works to fit in the MCU. Hickman era would just, imo, feel like a more natural transition and instantly make people want to know how the heroes in the MCU feel about these changes as well as allow the people to feel the surprise and change as well. More organic.
that also opens a world of content there is no reason life death, or some of wolverines greatest hits, or even Percy run can't be adapted with some older elements.

How are people reading the issues early and if so by saying something are they putting there people at risk. I mean i would imagine there would be a controlled amount of issues released so if it was being leaked there would be some way to track it. It surprises me there isn't some water mark or the preview issues for critics/websites are printed separately in a smaller batch maybe with a watermark or an ink that when scanned or photographed gives off some sort of indication of it's origin.

Australia gets the issues early than the US due to the time zone difference. Like 90 percent of comic leaks come from Australia. They're legitimate releases, because it's "tomorrow" there right now.

So, one could presumably change their VPN to Australia and have access?
Ah that explains it.
Just a reminder, people. No spoilers allowed until tomorrow morning (9am eastern, I think?). I know people can't help themselves (see the recent X-Factor) but try to think of those of us that prefer to read the book when it officially comes out.

I get being doomer about a book that you've read and given a chance to for an arc or two (see me with Excalibur) but why are multiple people in this thread like "omg, it's so dull and boring and i've read this story x100 times before" when the issue is not even out.
I mean yes, if you don't like a books premise or creative team that's fine but not every book is for you. There are tons of books I don't pick up because of this reason, but I don't demand they change their premise just because I don't want to read about it. Some people do miss traditional superheroics in the X-Men and that is fine, there is tons of variety in the Hickman era if you want a different take.
And please do not compare X-Men Gold to this, that run had lots of problems but it had more to do with the writing then the concept of them being traditional heroes. Heck some of the best periods in X-Men where when they were acting as regular superheroes like the Outback era.

The trolls who just love to shyt on everyone else's fun have already been promptly "ignored". The best thing would be not to re-post/quote the spoiler posts.
