Is wondy less violence, less aggressive, and more likey to use reason and words than violence to settle her problems, than the "average" amazon?

Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

I'm going with "On average, yes, but it really depends on who's writing her."

Civil war? Instigated by Circe.
Purple Death Ray? Didn't exist until the Amazons were on the verge of extinction from an invading army. It was used as a desperation move to save the Amazon race from annihilation, and it was never used again. Hardly the actions of a race of savage warmongers.

Sooooo, the Amazons get manipulated into thinking they're fighting a war for the survival of their entire way of life.....and then they went right back to sitting around thinking happy thoughts.
Not much evidence. All that proves is that the Amazons know how to fight. This has been established before. It hardly proves that they prefer fighting or enjoy violence.

And the Amazons were under attack a lot. Themyscira has been destroyed and rebuilt countless times. You act as if there was no conflict and they sat around all day knitting and doing crossword puzzles. There were golden apples of discord, bloody battles, god wars, assassination attempts, kidnappings, political intrigue and murders. None of it was perfect.
They weren't under attack for three thousand years. All they had to deal with was the occasional incursion out of Doom's Doorway.
The rest of the time? "Peace, love, and bunnies."
Once the comics got started? They were under attack every once in a while. Then it was back to patting themselves on the back about how much better they were than everyone else.
The only troubles the Amazons encountered came from outside sources. They, themselves, and their society, were perfect.
